This project was entered as a candidate for the Master Painters Awards for Excellence, and was ultimately a finalist in NSW Commercial Painting category.
Judges’ comments:
- all internal and external areas of this building were painted;
- gloss enamel was used in high traffic areas, with feature (bold) blue and red’s painted with difficult access to exposed metal works on black on ceiling areas;
- access to exposed metal works on black on ceiling areas;
- cutting in was neat with straight lines in both internal and external areas;
- picture framing was evident on finishes on high gloss areas of wall surfaces.
